oh sheeit man this reminds me of some fantasy novel hideout in a huge library full of spell books. id want my room to be behind that door. actually no id want my second room behind that door. with a hidden passageway to my first room so that i can make it look like i live in the first room but i actually live in the second room so that if someone needs me, they can't find me and i can be left alone. i need seclusion.
The Prince of Sass strolled into his room, nose held high. "Leave me." The words directed into the stale air were dripping with annoyance and stress. The manservant, in attempt to slink away as fast as he possibly could, tripped over the threshold of the ancient oaken door, earning a scoff from the Prince. The Prince flopped down onto his four-poster bed, utterly exhausted from all the sass he laced into his sentences throughout the day. He glanced around his chambers and his face scrunched up into what he figured might've been a grimace. He couldn't know for sure because his mum and dad, the King and Queen, had had his mirror taken away due to his countless absences from lessons spent gazing at himself. "I can't help that I'm extremely attractive", he huffed to himself with a roll of his eyes. "Servant!" The word was just short of a screech as it passed the Prince's pouty lips. The Prince's manservant, a mousy boy named Jimin, stumbled in. "This klutz, I swear..", the Prince muttered under his breath. "Y-yes, Your Highness." "Hey, man, I'm just playing around.", the Prince laughed. "O-oh, right, right. Hah," the manservant, Jimin, awkwardly scratched the back of his neck,...
If i had a place like this, i would wear nothing but wolf skins, eat nothing but the animals i was able to hunt that day and speak to no-one, ultimately turning into even more of an introverted creep. It reminds me of the hut that the daughter and father use as a hide-out in the movie Hanna, starring Saoirse Ronan, one of my favourite actresses, admittedly.
if I decided to sleep on a bed again I'd definitely go for a Murphy bed. the hidden door is cool too. it allows for maximum space. and you really only need a bed or place to sleep at night. with this setup I could definitely have a perfect amount of space to learn and practice 방탄소년단 dances. 16.09.22
this is also something that promotes organisation as perfect as the closet of 강철. great organisation leads to confidence, put togetherness, and sanity so it feels some of the emotional-type needs that were outlined in class. and the colours say 'I'm a clean cut person that's successful and approachable' unless the person is like me with good taste but strange personality.
this is also along the same lines of 'simplicity is the key to sanity' because everything you need is in one room easily accessible and clean looking. No one needs all the extra stuff they think they do. and bigger housing means less land area for other things. you only really need a big house if you're claustrophobic or into polygamy.
the main character of my favourite drama, 강철, has this closet system in his apartment. I like how it's a clean layout with everything in the open rather than a crowded area in a small, dark room. it also encourages one to keep their things organised. 강철 was pretty organised and sophisticated before someone framed and shot him.
this is what I need, minus the mattress. I've been sleeping on the floor for 2 months now and all I'd need to do is lay down blankets. in this instance, I wouldn't need to roll up my bed and put it in a wardrobe, like I do now. having blankets off the floor minimises the risk for spiders and keeps the area looking clean and classy.
simplicity is the key to sanity. everything you need amounts to very little in a very small space. I'd be totally fine living in a 10x10ft area.
this gives a medieval castle feel what with the rope, stone, wood door, shape of the windows. i would have to change the stain glass pattern though, because i don't know if i could deal with jezus reading over my shoulder all the time..
