Ideas for new house
I wish my kids will play relaxingly and safely like them. Before the play room will be made, we would like to temporarily use the living room as our playroom. Any suggestion of a rug to use on the living room (and even potentially in the actual playroom) that is neat, proper, and easy to clean (thick, furry, dirt/cat fur trapping ones are likely not a good idea).
I don't have a concrete idea of how to decorate the kids' room: a "traditional" single bed (that I can mount temporarily safety rails) that is not too tall but style that can last even when they outgrow the young toddler's period, yet some elements/feeling of creativity/dreams/playfulness. Our older son likes train. I have purchase a set of train bedsheet that I can show you. but we dont need everything in the room following the theme of train. Our 2nd son now only a baby, but I prefer NOT to make a baby crib room but right the way prepare it as a toddler room. I never use a crib and he will grow very fast anyway. Needs your suggestions!
All decorative things shoiuld have wide base making them more difficult to fall, or have some mechanism that fix them to the surface. This is for child safety and for our naughty cat. we like deem, cosy romantic lighting. Fireplace, candles, etc... we love photo frame display as well. A very low center table is nice where I can also use to read books with my kids. A higher one with sharp square corners scan be dangerous for our toddler kids. Any thought to nicely cover the corners or a round table/rounded corner square table that can look just as nice in the living room?
Love the simplicity, neatness and a lot of light
Any ideas for my husband to put/hook his used but not ready to wash clothing, other than on a chair or the floor ? Thanks!
We never talked about outdoor design, but this one definitely is very charming. Open also to outdoor furniture and decoration idea. Has to be somewhat dirt-resistant (plastic and certain type of wood that stain/looks dirty easily and hard to clean is to avoid)
Very pretty
For easy cleaning, no carpet in any rooms, otherwise very nice
Neat!
I am slightly obsessive-compulsive about organization and neatness
Simple, sweet plant decorations are nice, unfortunately they have to be fake plants due to our naughty cat. Once again we like cozy, neat, traditional or contemporain (but not too modern) style. Grand and elegant style also is liked as well but not too extravagantly "grand"
too official
we love light decoration (any that makes the room cozy and romantiic...or imaginary for the kids)
I save this more for the window seat, as an idea for the eventual playroom (something low for the kids can climb up there to see, to nap, to read). I also picture some light (very light with still good light penetration) rainbow colored curtain at the window, along with some star (?) like lights hanging at the window to turn on at night.
clean, neat, elegant but also resistant bathroom accessories
I love it!
