Entry
Possibly - cheaper on Perigold
Still thinking of either painting the entry wall dark blue or using grass cloth and a mirror with gold frame instead of picture.
I am beginning to think about a mirror in the entry. I like the way it reflects and I like that it might make people stop a bit and take notice. In this entry, I love the blue grass cloth and gold mirror. The wood piece kind of matches my chest and the blue and white porcelain would stand out. Just dramatic.
Runner
Like the white on white with big pop of blue and the red/yellow in the branches.
Love this light fixture. It is open and airy - wouldn't add heft to a small entry.
Kind of interesting - a mirrored tile in the tray ceiling to give the entry more height. I might should think of a way to make my entry feel larger and with more height.
I love this entry. Thinking about getting rid of the bench.
This is a soothing entry. Maybe it would be nice to change the artwork there to something paler.
Kind of like the idea of an accent wall in the entry? Something to think about.
While the proper blue should be chosen based on your home's color palette, Benjamin Moore's Polar Sky is the perfect example of a classic Haint Blue.

These custom painted panels are nice. I could use one of the scrolls instead? Especially in the dining area where I need something large to balance things out next to the credenza.
You can carefully transplant the potted bulbs or just sink them (nursery container and all) into a larger container for your spring display. After the flowers fade, remove the bulb container and replace with warm-season perennials. Not that I would do this exactly, but I would like to throw in some plants around the palms out front.
Love the planters with tall grasses.
I wonder if a little cafe table and chairs would fit on the front porch. Really like this.
The sisal rugs and the botanicals.
Love the simplicity of this. Simple mirror, glass vase, candlesticks. Also like the animal skin rug.
Love the idea of a sisal or other natural fiber rug with a border fabric for the entry. Texture. But for now the Oriental works fine.
Stuart Membery Zebra, but in blue!
the botanicals
Magia rug from Calypso St. Barth $95 for a 2x3 rug.
Could look great anywhere. Wonder where you get the banana leaves? Love the little botanical book, coral, picture in front of the mirror. Two sizes of candlesticks. Not so sure about the lamp, unless I did it on the wall opposite the sofa. Love the marble top chest!
Outdoors, dark wood chaises, Chinese garden stools and clipped evergreens combine Caribbean, Asian and English traditions.
Classic boxwoods. Boxwoods are about the easiest container plant around, providing four seasons of medium green foliage. Clipped into cones, boxwoods could be decorated with lights and ornaments as miniature Christmas trees or just left naturally for a welcome hit of green on each side of the front door.
Chinese furniture and bamboo shades
The brick work
I like the tropical look with palms but also has other plants as well. Chartreuse foliage has a light, airy quality that can be useful for visually softening hard edges and corners in a landscape. In this San Francisco backyard, clumps of spurge (Euphorbia sp.) look almost like chartreuse clouds billowing over the deck and cascading down the steps.
Love the way the hall looks white and wood. Pictures. Rug runner.
If not the sisal rug maybe a yellow Chinese rug. Looks cool - could use in either dining area or office would be really cool.
Wow - love the idea of a group of pictures leaned up against the wall. Blue and white with something white.
Really like this doorbell cover - $34.50 from Back Bay Pottery on Etsy
Grass cloth, lamp, blue and white, elephant, plant, photos
This could work in either the entry or on the credenza.
I guess I could use the wrought iron garden furniture on the front porch.
Love those black chairs for the front porch.
I love the blue and green lights.
http://portaromana.com/us/product/large-blossom-chandelier/ Love the shadows this throws on the ceiling.
Thinking about cream or blue/green. Can't decide. This is Extra Fine Arrowroot in white.
Phillip Jeffries - Manilla Hemp Silver Blue. How nice for the entry.
For the entry? Mirror, the four ceramics with something tall. Like the grass cloth wallpaper. Not sure about the wainscotting though. Small lamp - actually I think the chest is too small for that. Maybe either the brass vase or the Chinese fish bowl.
I wonder if a built in bookshelf in the entry foyer would look cool. Just wondering.
Really like the two tone. Another stunning door painted with @farrowandball Painted in Teresa's green no.236 Framework in satin white. -
Farrow and Ball Vert-de-Terre
Like the antique runner - good for the hall and good for the master bathroom. Except it might trip Sam up
Spotlights for trees. Placing a few spotlights on large specimen trees can have a big impact in creating interest in your garden at night. Hide ground spotlights behind boulders or shrubs and tuck midtree lights behind large branches.
Love the drama
