If we have pebble floors, want them in the Niche too.
Clever Niche & Bench Placement.
One of my favorite size tiles to use on floors and walls is large-format rectangular 12"x24" tile. Think really big subway tile. It is an ideal size to try if you are considering going larger but want to ease into it. It may appear large in the tile showroom, but once installed, it looks smaller and is a nice, fresh alternative to the common 12"x12" or 18"x18" tile. 12"x24" has been around for many years, but only recently has it gained popularity with the general public. See how it's being used in bathroom design now:
Pebbles make a great shower floor because they are naturally slip-resistant and feel nice underfoot. These pick up the warm tones of the slate wall and floor.
gne architecture Email Save This powerful textured tile in variegated shades is so strong that one wall of it is plenty.
The arrangement of this accent tile is so smart. The shape mimics a colorful painting on a white wall in a gallery. Because the designer opted for a clear glass shower separation, it can be enjoyed from anywhere in the bathroom, and makes the room seem more spacious.
Beautiful Plaster bathroom. Love the feel.
Using pebbles on vertical surfaces makes a wall with a wow factor and adds an element of surprise to any room.

How to have blue (but keep the kitchen white)
Like this style - Hamptons/Global. Julie and John Hanna were bursting with ideas, excitedly handing over a batch of tear sheets they’d already gathered. With this input and direction, the designers put together a design — global style with a nod to a relaxed and breezy Hamptons lifestyle. The designers wanted to draw on the area’s coastal vibe and establish a sense of comfort and ease.
Statement Indian pendants over the dining table draw attention to the entertaining zone. The table extends to seat 10 and is surrounded by comfortable dining chairs upholstered in blue fabrics by Warwick and Sanderson.

good for the water feature and pool - Blue and white house.
Put internal windows in (the cooker wall could be done like this). Could use stained glass or something?
