I’m going to try and assume you aren’t attempting to insult me with your comment. Not exactly sure what you’re saying about those damaging little space gray??
I’m quite aware of the porous nature of marble, which is why I did not choose it for my kitchen counters. Marble can be sealed and I don’t expect it to last forever or be impenetrable. Judging by oh the thousands of marble showers on houzz, I’m going to assume that some folks have managed to figure out how to make marble work. My concern, I am admittedly unfamiliar with this kind of absorption rating on ceramic tile and perhaps this particular wall tile just isn’t intended for wet area use. Will it crack or fail later? That’s what I’m concerned about.
I don’t understand why some folks are snarky in their comments on here. I’m simply asking for advice on this specific tile, you could have easily just said - hey if you haven’t thought about it, you may want to rethink that marble too.
