Kitchen
I think linen white (esp at 100% mix) is a definite no way on the walls after reading multiple posts and seeing how yellow it gets in certain lights that makes it not modern at all. I don’t want beige walls. I have huge issue with my current bleeker beige looking very warm tan in the bright rooms and more the color I intended of a cooler grey beige in darker settings. This article also talks about whites in different light levels. https://thecolorconcierge.com/best-white-paint-for-dark-rooms/ https://barnandwillow.com/blogs/barn-willow/finding-the-perfect-shade-of-white-with-paintzen
Cabinets with built in “pulls” but these are too big.
No handles and opens upward for steam oven? Or maybe it's one that slides out of the way - don't want something getting in the way.
really pretty use of lighting and neutral colors, but lacking bold art and a bit dark.
Lumicor Limelight countertop (looks way too trendy - perhaps better use as the vertical bar material if at all)
bold art in LR
hate the kitchen but 3 form varia chroma countertop(too trendy) and too dark
just like the overall feel of the space, not anything in particular except the bold use of art. too dark.
do not like the materials, just the overall bright feel. Nice use of the end of the island functionally tho
Lighting only
thicker bar top but not the execution
Do not like the exact execution of this thicker bar
Windows
Wolf Kitchen
Bad screen grab but love this artist, Bassmi Ibrahim but blue won't go well with rest of the art in the house so maybe somewhere else like bedroom or bathroom
My current dining room at night. (dark paint needs to go, it was a phase...looks nice at night but don't like day)
just the feel of the space
Love Minotti but so pricey
Minotti. but too dark
Not my style, but inviting bar because of the lighting.
Just the feel of the room, too dark
Do NOT like this kitchen at all. Included for reference only as to This is what it would look like with my floors and grey cabinets, although this floor is more oaky red than even mine. But good for reference as it doesn't look great.
Seriously lacking something in the design..only included for showing what I do not want.
like the idea of the "glass" front cabinets but do NOT want to see anything inside. Probably not practical tho anyway but I do like some of the frosted
cabinets that don't look like kitchen cabinets but do not like materials or kitchen at all.
interesting but too trendy fixtures over bar and room is way too dark.
similar config to my layout - a bit boring but included just for reference.
(Poliform web site varenna) would never do any dark wood. like bar top stacked execution
once again love that the kitchen cabinets don't really look like a kitchen but don't like the cabinets themselves
really pretty kitchen, good mix of materials albeit not super exciting; like the texture/color of cabinets but I would get tired of them.
Not the bar style just the slightly raised edge to allow for plugs behind and ever so slightly hide countertop work surface without it looking like a dated island with high edge
Long sink
Like the mashup of bar and island and just the little bump up and the open edge but could be better executed.
My Current layout
From kitchen sink area
From living area (post will be gone when beam put up
As you enter from Front door (wall will be gone)
hate the island for my purposes and these cabinets cannot be the same width all around you would bump your head! But the back section is somewhat similar to my layout.
Range area would be where sink is (not the dark at all ) just that area. Lighting design under the cabinets is nice tho.
Where sink is would be range ; fridge not there - pretty kitchen feeling overall.
Do not look at for design aesthetic just function. cabinets that open with upward or downward hinges to save space in corners or limited spaces.
nice kitchen except for the wood, albeit very lacking in pizazz for the bar. But one of my favorite kitchens that I could find. Needs a big pop of abstract art. Would not do this kind of bar that had sunken other side with high sides - does not work for entertaining and lose too much countertop.
Do not like when waterfall is such a diff height. Looks dated and not very functional for entertaining bar is too narrow to be functional
way too dark and not really my style, but . just the feeling of the room because of the lighting .
Bar at the Maui Hyatt; not the materials or colors, just the feel of the space.
Not sure where something like this would go but pretty esp with the lighting
