Swivel pipe coat rack. Purchased 1 of these for either a bathroom towel valet or in a WIC to hold belts, scarves, etc.
Love this console table.
Outlets in vanity drawers is brilliant idea for dryers, curling irons, flat irons. Master vanity, Bath 3 and Bath 2.
Master bath inspiration (and/or guest suite bath). Love the primitive, simple wood with the white sink, bath, walls and the chandelier. I like the openness of the vanity shelves, but I just have to have ample cabinets and drawers for the sake of storage and tidiness. Perhaps a combination of open shelves and cabinets/drawers.
Touches of glam juxtaposed with rustic farmhouse
I absolutely adore this very long rustic, picnic-esque wood table. Cool shelves and basin sink at the end too. Love the white pendants....they make it new and contemporary. Nice balance. Even like the pop of black or slate for contrast.
Muted neutrals, fresh and simple. Just love the tile behind the shelves.
Heart those shelves
This concrete island counter and the wood cabinets are stunning! Such an unlikely, unique combination. I love it.
I like the asymmetry and the chunky, simple open legs, shelf and drawers of island. Also like the cabinet style in the back. Color is nice, but probably too dark for the entire kitchen.
This stainless steel hood has rivets in it at the seams...makes it look a bit more old and texturized. I like it a lot. Is this a custom order hood? Ernie, can you make a hood like this? I wonder if it would be less costly than a Viking a version, yet more unique and special.
Wood ceiling accent idea for kitchen or nook??
Barn wood detailing paired with sleek, contemporary white cabinets. Love the look. I like the colors in this picture.
Love these chunky wood shelves with black braces. Also like the cabinet and counter color
This metal arch cutout is a very cool detail
Concrete walls
I like this metal island frame as well as the concrete counter. I do not like the strapped logs flanking either side.
This is appealing to me.
I love this thick concrete counter with the wood crates and white wall. wonder if we could do this counter concept in the back of the pantry.
This kitchen is beautiful. I could definitely live with cabinets like this if you give me a touch of chunky rough wood, as shown here on the ceiling. The grey counter top and metal chairs. Very nice.
I love these cabinets. Flat with no contouring or routing. Simple, yet structural hardware/pulls. I like the hood a lot. And of course, I like the greys and whites. Fixtures are nice. Granite counter not my favorite. Prefer a solid color, little to no veining. This kitchen needs more rustic wood and some metal.
I like the simplicity of these cabinets and hardware.
I like the big, open, white shelves and the backsplash.
Loving the wood ceiling and the dark-gridded window contrasted with the white and grey
I like the shades of grey with the white and wood (but not this wood, per se).
I like the stacked bank of drawers on this island. Very structurally pleasing with the hardware choice and zinc cabinet paint color. Looks nice with the stainless hood...would contrast well with other more rustic elements in the kitchen.
I like the cabinet color here (Benjamin Moore River Reflection) and the hardware (Restoration Hardware). Also, love that butcher block island with large wire basket.
I like the white cabinets and grey backsplash. Also don't mind the white cabinet detailing above the stainless hood. Love the light fixtures.
The shelves and white apron sink are beautiful.
A hood I like! I like the shape and texture of the plaster. Very simple and old-looking, yet clean and light. Also like that wood detailing. I like the brick, but probably white backsplash to lighten it up (Tabarka or subway tile). Also, like those wood floating shelves, but not if it means losing precious storage capacity in the form of uppers. The darker counter on the wall counter is nice too. Wouldn't mind using cabinetry and hardware similar to this in isolated places. The wood stain works here because the wall and the ceiling are very white and creamy.
I really like this antiqued white cabinetry with the farmhouse sink and wood counter. Would even look good with the grey concrete counter. Different upper, probably. The black brackets against the white are nice too.
This piece is going in Bedroom 3 (Emma's Room). She's a water/ocean kind of girl. Lots of aqua, white and beachy colors for her.
This is a small piece from my friend that I own (12"x12" or 10"x10"). I like the pop of abstract (yet simple) color (it's kind of a red/orange coral) amidst otherwise neutral color tones - rustic or contemporary. I like to bring out color in art and in sporadic decor artifacts...not so much in flooring, tile, walls, etc.
This is a very large original piece by my friend (8'x7') that I plan to put...somewhere where it fits! :-) Ideally, the family room, living room or some major traffic room or common room. I think we are somewhat limited by walls that can accommodate such a piece. So, you can see that these are modern, abstract works - but still light, whimsical and playful. I especially like the geometric and layered look of her work. I think they will look great surrounded by key rustic elements. Balance, as you say...
This is the original art by my friend that I plan to put in the formal dining and wine room.
I want to bring some modern, sleek dark grey into the formal dining room and wine area....to match my friend's painting that I plan to put in that room. See next image.
I like the very old looking stone here (seriously over grouted) with the metal accents of the furniture.
Here is a French farmhouse table concept. Perhaps some form of this for the pull out table from the kitchen island (on casters).
Love the muted look of this vintage wool rug. Elements like this will balance the rustic farmhouse elements and the modern elements. Softens and brings a simple elegance. I am tempted to buy this one for the house.
I love the dark cabinet, as well as the look of the brick and stone.
Here is that "Coal" hardwood sample once again (bottom). Here it looks pretty dark, probably due to the contrast of the mission style plaster samples to the right (omega white and milky Quartz). Also, lighting and angle surely made a difference. I really don't mind the dark though, and I do love the contrast. I envision that stark contrast of light and dark will be tempered/balanced by rustic wood accents of furniture, the variegated tones of Saltillo tile and stone veneer, as well as some lighter painted cabinetry throughout many of the rooms (distressed white or light grey, as discussed).
This middle, darker hardwood, oil rubbed flooring is my favorite. "Coal" from the Heritage Timber Edition by DuChateau. It looks very dark in this photo, but seems to change depending on lighting.
I love the simplicity and colors of this reclaimed table. Beauitful.
Love this rustic/industrial table. Wood and metal.
Made from reclaimed wood. I like the colors and the simple styling.
Love the rustic wooden top, maybe for the pull out table under the island. Love the potted plant. The greens and browns and greys with white walls/cabinets is lovely.
