Oil and utensil pullouts. In another example of well-designed cabinetry, narrow pullout cabinets on both sides of the range offer space for frequently used cooking oils, as well as utensils — a nice convenience for a frequent cook. Cabinets: custom, rift sawn oak, stained gray and glazed with a white glaze; countertops: white marble, Rye Marble; hardware: Vinci pull, SchaubRead more about this kitchenMoreThe 10 Most Popular New Kitchen Photos of 2017The Most Popular New Bathroom Photos of 2017
Yes!Undersink drawer. Given the plumbing fixtures that must go beneath the kitchen sink and the fact that there isn’t much room in that space for storage, this area can feel like a dank mini-cave. This drawer has a clever cutout that gently surrounds the plumbing, making available the good, clean space while keeping the plumbing hidden. Cabinetry: painted to match Light Pewter 1464, Benjamin Moore; hardware: Schaub; countertops: Rye Marble; sink: Strive, Kohler; faucet: Rohl
Bev fridge on one end and display for cookbooks on other! End-of-island display. The end drawers on this island have glass fronts and false backs so the homeowners can display cookbooks, colorful fruit, pasta, candy or whatever they please. Behind the false backs is regular storage. Cabinets by Medallion Cabinetry: Maple Islander with Coastal finish (base cabinets) and Maple Cottage in white finish (upper cabinets); island hardware: round glass cup pulls, Restoration Hardware; countertop: Cambria in Brittannica; pendants: Elementary Schoolhouse cord-hung light, Barn Light Electric; flooring: Portfolio in Paris Black, TeragrenRead more about this kitchen
Island drinks station. Rather than let the space at the end of the island go to waste, this homeowner installed a beverage refrigerator. Since guests are forever congregating around the kitchen island, this setup makes it easy for them to serve themselves — without getting in the way of the chef. Bar fridge: Vinopazzo, AG International; island cabinetry paint: Kendall Charcoal HC-166, Benjamin Moore; floor tile: Duomo in cream, Midgley West; countertop: quartz; pendant lights: Union Lighting

An ice maker in the pantry is a great idea, but it must not run constantly like our current annoying one in the media room now.
I mean anywhere we can pop things up works for me! Clean and clear flat surfaces with the convenience sound great
I kind of like the idea of all the appliances like this on one wall. Looks cool.
Love this idea for dish towels! Also nice to have LARGE built in garbage and recycle!
Definitely!
M: Like what if we have this in our kitchen similar to our current, but darker wood like the other outlines and too floor so they open up so sort of like alfresco dining
M This looks like a functional kitchen space. We use the top of our wine fridge where there is a small space for something like this. Based on how the 'Back' area of the kitchen - where there are desk/work areas for the girls- is built and proximity, etc. somewhere between the farm room and the kitchen we may want ton have a similar 'station' to this. Potentially more concealed/less open. But some shelves or countertop space
M Minus the backslash choice, the arch in the window and the smaller size, great kitchen. (I know you are thinking, 'so what does she "actually" like about it?')
M: I don't love this exact kitchen, but I like the idea of a kitchen leaning toward the industrial feel
M: *O*M*G* I must havbe a million of these drawers with varying sizes and depths of the holes! GENIUS
M: This looks like a disorganized disaster, but I like the idea of having something like the upper slotted spaces in a cabinet somewhere for recipes that are loose, or kitchen manuals. Also would like a space to store ALL of my cookbooks that's actually in the kitchen, most to be concealed behind solid closed doors, and then space in shelves or what not for some to be displayed. (see current display in our house, would like a bit more space than that)
M: Love the concept of 'single sized' pull out shelves for most used appliances. Love pull out shelves in general whenever feasible and cost effective
M: :Like it
M: This is interesting to me: 1. it's kind of 'divided' between the kitchen and the farm room, but still very open- could even do with less transitional dividing countertop thingies by the pillars... 2. It takes away from my 'I want to look from the island into the fam room, TV area, work and be with the farm. still.' requirement, BUT I think its interesting how the layout of the kitchen area is almost perpendicular to the fam room, like it looks as if it faces out- toward the water in our case, and the family room faces 90 degrees to the left. I guess I am assuming here that our family room area will face the same direction it does now, but I don't know if that has to be the case as long as there is some seating facing that way so that here TV can be viewed from the seating areas as well. I do NOT like the stone or colors or anything about the finishes really at all.
scott says - nice looking kitchen
GHA example - Like beam work, different color cabinets, oven "surround"
