I love the curves of the walls, the wrought iron railing, and the bottom step.
I like the turn of the banister.

I like the hardware on both doors, the diamond pane windows, and the wonderful use of moldings, especially on the stair landing. Notice the shelves on the second floor.
I love unexpected spaces like this.
You just take for granted the static nature of the ordinary hallway. But as this picture shows, it doesn't have to be that way.
This isn't just a stairway. It's a work of art.
