Outdoor Living
4. If we wanted to bring some colors from the inside of the house, this was a really nice inspirational picture of how to bring the green/gray painted cabinet down to the outdoor kitchen. It is balanced with some stone and wood along the back wall. We could see ourselves using materials like this (i.e. stone behind grill with some type of painted or reclaimed wood on the remainder of the back wall)
7. We liked how the board paneling was angled and thought it emphasized the room's height. We thought maybe if the grill hood was wood paneled (instead of stucco or metal) it would be a cool way to bring wood color into the design and also take advantage of the wall height (probably 10+ feet from ground).
8. We need a bookcase along the bottom of the TV for storage and for the A/V components. However, in place of the open shelving on either side of the TV we think we want to frame up the TV with some stone on either side of it (see photos 8-10) and put some rustic wood or other interesting material behind the TV to really frame it up.
1. We like the basic look of light stucco with stainless silver & concrete.
