Backyard Makeover
do not like any materials or colors used.. but an example of a step down terrace that may be used down into pond... I want the back of my property to look nice but I do not want to dump a large amount of money along the back of my property along the pond... the pond raises and falls depending on the rainfall and I would prefer to spend money within the backyard, side yard, and front yard.
No idea what type of plants but I do like the fact that the living wall is alive yet offers a great deal of privacy. I am looking for serenity and privacy around my entire house.... but I do not like wood fences and am not allowed in this matter to put them up but a living barrier would be a cool approach yet I am not a green thumb low maintenance is important b/c my landscaper usually freshens up 4 times a year and the maintenance man weeds in between.
Again this is not really about the design rather would it be possible for a "fireplace" or fireplace wall be placed off the edge of the garage most likely not an entire wall but rather iron work coming off of each side diving the area where the dog run is and heaters/pumps/and trash cans are..... Just a thought
I do not like anything about this picture other than to remind me I would possibly like umbrellas around my lounge chairs
Is this a unique dog run for bathroom breaks? Interesting the "arbor" provides shade and a barrier. It would be a cool place that offers outdoor shade as well. If we could plant something on the "arbor" that would smell good would be awesome too. I have read about grass that when you walk through it a aroma is set off. This grass may be awesome for the dog area as well. I like that it is natural too.
Not perfect but love the light and openness.
I do not like the look of this at all but I am interested in an elegant screened in area if possible or an area that offers alot of glass doors that can be totally opened to allow an indoor out door feel.
like the back drop
Interesting...but what happens when it floods. The electricity needs to be checked and generator added to the house.
at night what will the pool glow like> what color will look well..think about the appearance in the day and the night.
like the calendar chandelier
love the idea of the wood but unsure about the upkeep.
Really like the look of this
Love how the stone and grass were used together... I am not into palm trees and realistically the concept will not work with kids and two large dogs.
Love the columns with vine on top
Visually nice... like the grass but realistically with the dogs not an option
Like the concept of the waterfall yet not interested in the squirts.
The retention wall... not sure want to spend that much money... but again interested in how we will utilize the space to its fullest potential
love for a Colorado home
Is that a serving Bar down low?
the water feature is eye catching b/c the lighting and I imagine it sounds soothing as well.
I like the windows.... could be neat to incorporate this into the dog house.
would be afraid of wild life but I do love incorporating the natural landscape
very pretty
For a different project but something pretty about this feature
The retention wall being a water feature.. up keep... lighting very important and fixing the irrigation.
There are several aspects of this that I like.
Like everything except the type of rock around base of pool.
Love Love it!
Like the different elevations... is this even an option in regards to drainage etc....
Do NOT like this although there is a water feature and the pool is elevated... DO Not like
Again like the waterfall and dimension created
a waterslide would be the most awesome feature for the kids and a fire pit for roasting marshmellows.
like the water features....
The submerged fire pit is a cool concept. Can not have too much going on or it will look cluttered up and cheesy
So cool for the boys
Too modern for the present project but again the elevated pool is an interesting approach.
Swim up Bar. Love it. But with kids the corners of the bar stools may be dangerous. Open space is important too.
Like the idea of building the pool up out of the ground. It provides a pretty back drop and added dimension.
The chairs are a bit modern for the present project but the concept is super cool
not into colors but example of disappearing wall.
