Wood floor colors
If you have red oak you can get a similar color. Sand to 100-120 grit, and water-pop the floor before staining. This opens or "pops" the grain to accept dark stains more evenly and a shade darker than normal. Try DuraSeal/Minwax Dark Walnut, Special Walnut, Espresso, or Provincial to start. Custom blend the colors together if necessary to get the color you want. Keep in mind, red oak has a natural red undertone in the wood that white oak does not, so you may need to try a few different colors to find what you want.
