Cabs
Hmmm - different approach for a spice rack inside a cabinet door. K, what do you think? K: I just saw this same photo last night and did a double-take. The advantages: it’s two-sided, so more spice storage; it sets the shelves back farther, so less rummaging required; it’s shorter, so items at an easier to reach height; and it puts the weight on the cabinet, not the door. The disadvantages: you have to swing the wing out of the way whenever you need something not on the front wing; the look is less clean; and the back shelves are shorter (a plus but also a possible minus), so more limited in what they can hold. Aesthetically I prefer what we’ve currently designed; in fact, so much so, how about a second one below the microwave?
