delta faucet, found on Home Depot site, but this one is over $100 less.

nook
Single bowl sink. With tall faucet. I do a lot of flowers in the sink!
this is the tone, width we seem to gravitate toward based on our house style. i think this is prefinished?
this engineered hardwood is more appealing bc the beveling between panels is not as noticeable
this is the kind of look/feel Ryan is wanting to avoid in a hardwood - the seams being overly visible and the textured wood grain.
floor to ceiling cabinet - for either side of the bench seating/window? and possibly consider this for green room; less cabinet, more countertop?
multiple seating: large table, stools at bar, bistro table at window. this set up opens my thoughts to a half wall at our kitchen/dining divide, while still giving us more space to walk than our current situation AND giving us a bit more counter/cabinet space at half wall.
food storage in center to replace ones we have now beside dishwasher.
like how this one only opens on top.
inside of cupboard, drawers in bottom counter space, shelves and door storage.
closed doors
cupboard and countertop for green room. like the open counter on one side, and coffee and storage inside cupboard. would love outlets here too.
cupboard, green room redo. not food storage for us, possibly dishes, coffee bar
larder cupboard for greenroom. storage for extra dishes, small appliances
color of bottom cabinets and countertop. HomeSouth response: The faucet is Newport Brass color
clean up + prep sink, non-island kitchen.
sink at window, up to ceiling cabinets
toe kick drawer
dining area lighting
food storage cabinetry - like the idea of opening out with no stopper in the middle. drawers would be helpful if the depth of the cabinet is more than 15" deep.
oven & fridge placement - possibly similar to ours. floor to ceiling cabinet on other side of fridge for food storage?
Cabinets - full overlay, no edges/bevel on top drawers
clean & simple banquet + table & chairs. fridge in possible similar location, cabinets to ceiling.
configuration may end up being similar to ours. cabinets to ceiling. don' t love uppers style, feel like on at least one side of window have open shelves. d/w, range and window all similar positioning to our current. HS: This is a nice layout. Cabinets to ceiling are great for additional space. Sometimes the upper space is rarely used, because of height. Another neat feature becoming more popular is the microwave in a lower area of the island. MB: lower microwave = kids being able to reheat their own food, i like it!
similar to our layout - may want cabinets to ceiling? HS: what colors are you thinking? Also, in the ideas you've saved, look at the door styles. If you could note what styles you like. MB: I am drawn to darker lowers/lighter uppers, esp if we are going to knock out all walls and have the kitchen visible all the way from the foyer. Darker lowers seems a bit "dressier" to me, as well as hide scuffs and dirt.
if we decide not to do the entire wall blowout, an option for a half wall b/w dining/kitchen HS: On a kitchen to dining area a partial wall is nice because it allows the upper kitchen cabinets a place to dead end. In the above example it also creates a small corner and defines the eating space.
like the open shelves - brass with wood/maybe a good option as opposed to custom brass pipes and open shelves in other image.
RMB - while the design and shape of the kitchen aren't right; the long dining table leading into a living space is what Molly is wanting.
RMB - the general style is wrong for us, but the configuration design with the wall of cabinets + appliances and then not having upper cabinets on the other walls could be nice. It would open things up with the windows.
RMB - end seating on island, wall of cabinets + appliances on one side (don't care for style, just configuration sample)
RMB - longer kitchen, does a good job of using both sides for cabinets and double stove. We would need a narrow island (if one at all) if we did cabinets/appliances on both sides, but could allow for a lot of storage.
big sink! long and narrow, with no counter tops on left side.
seats on ends, flush cabinet on island
configuration; don't love the gray on gray on gray but think this may suit our space. also don't care to have appliances "hidden". RMB - we both like the island being wood topped rather than the same as the rest of the counter space, also the bottom shelves here are unique.
open shelves/cabinet combo. brass accents with gray JH: The matte gold fixtures are becoming very popular. We can get plumbing and lighting fixtures in those colors. As for the shelving, that would probably be custom.
pantry/green room space JH: Adding cabinetry would give much more storage but really dedicating that room to more of a "butlers pantry" feel. RMB - If we knock out the desk and shelves in the den, we'd put the table in that spot and making that green breakfast room a butler's pantry would be ideal. It functions better as a pass through than an eating room.
like use of end of island. different countertops on island v main. don't love all blue. JH: With the possible layout being longer and somewhat narrow, end island seating is a great option. RMB - agree on end seating, we both like the small open shelving in the back left, this could be a good way to transition from dining into kitchen near window/sink
configuration, island JH: Are you referring to the prep sink?
baskets for storage JH: Storage like this can be added to the cabinet design easily. We just need to remember when designing and meeting with Veronica that we'd like to explore these options.
appliance configuration, drawers, storage beside fridge
