Chalet
Just LOVE this cute ½ bath under the stairs - and they used lighting to keep it from being dark.
Lovely way of showing how the shower and toilet could work with the roof line.
The high windows provide lighting and potential air flow without worrying about who is looking into the room. Nice counter space - one sink would be enough
Is the counter a concrete pour? Simple design, the glass / open cabinets are few, but a couple can make the kitchen seem more open. The raised counter separates the work area from the visiting area. That may be good.
Creating the kitchen with the underside of the loft provides better lighting for the work areas. We do cook Indian foods, I am interested in a vent for the stove top if possible.
Storage space. And storage to the ceiling (Rather than creating a dust collection spot) appreciating the different levels on the counter - if that works for flow in our place (consider the chalet is small, would that make the area seem smaller?)
Farmhouse sink. Not so much wood tones though and not a fan of open shelves
Lighting windows with rustic flair - Suresh loves the really large counter area
windows are so nice, if there is enough storage. The farmhouse sink with the concrete looking top is smooth - appreciate the rustic touches, without being too rustic. Sometimes the current place has a little TOO much wood tone
not a fan of decorations on top of cabinets (dust collectors); a lot of items on the counters... the corner storage is nice, but wouldn't have that AND the bread box. My Mom used to have a metal bread box in a drawer (designed in the drawer with metal lid - def farmer's wife design). Nice use of space in a smaller kitchen area, but island is not open to use as a smaller dining area or flow to the dining/family area.
very traditional; not useful space under the stairs
Storage - would like some parts at least to be closed
Interesting especially since we are looking at a single sink
