I know this looks nothing like what we are doing but a thought i have.... If we want a fireplace, another idea i was wondering about was putting it along the wall between the sunroom and the living room/dining and making it so the fireplace can be seen from both sides? We want to remove the gas fireplace from the family room so a dual purpose one elsewhere is kinda of cool thought. That said i dont know if there would be space for it on that side. I suppose it depends on what kind of doors/windows we have along that wall.
We like the idea of the room being divided for a dual purpose (that is perhaps why a longer rectangular room, as opposed to square room, appeals more) We are envisioning a rectangular table for eating in the corner on the family room side. Wondering about built-in cushioned bench seating in that corner (will try to send a photo or two of what i mean) which would provide bench seating for one side and an end and then chairs would be used on the outer side of the table for the other side side and end, if we have a bigger number of people at the table. We envision a couch with a coffee table and at least 2 chairs such as in this pic but havent totally decided on what kind of look we want at this point. Not sure if we could incorporate a hanging chair somewhere or not!? Its hard to know how much furniture can go into the space. Hopefully this gives you a sample idea of what we'd like. I will try and send more pics through
we like these doors but maybe solid glass for unobstructed viewing when they are closed? We've sent pics of both bifolding type doors and sliding doors for the transition from sunroom to outside. Perhaps price and pull down screen option would help us decide what we go with? We've searched windows online and really like what we've see on MAGICWINDOWS.CA.
i like this idea but not this wide
