Dwyer-Pierce Project
fireplace, built-in, with tv on the side. Perhaps we outfit the built in on the left side for a TV- it won't be huge, but it will be out of the way.
exploring the use of different architectural details to separate rooms. They used beams here- maybe too rustic for what we are doing..but its the idea of separating without walls.
exploring built ins
I think if we have the height transoms would be a nice addition- adding light and interest while still delineating space. using painted woodwork and architectural detail as a divider.
window seat, bookshelves and a dining table..not the color, but the concept..cozy and inviting.
using painted half beams- maybe a little overkill for your house..but could be scaled down.

tv on the side!
transoms, indoor windows
maybe doing a wall treatment of sorts in the new dining room..painted wainscot in a color- different from the rest of the house..part of the vibe in there.
beams and transoms creating space
multi function space with bookshelves, seating, character
book shelves around a door or passageway
a simple option..painted cased opening into a different space.
