We would like to cut down cost and do vertical siding. This is just an idea to show you. Haven't decided on color & brand name yet. Would like to do WIDE Vertical Siding.
Changing the floor plan. Realized we want a whole house facing to the water.
I like vent fan color black. white cabinets with black knobs, We have this same color of hardwood floor. It is nice to go with that kitchen. black windows and black lights as well. Big island and nice color countertop, like the backsplash goes all the way up to the ceiling.
This is probably my favorite. I love this kitchen. Like the color of cabinet. I do like glass upper cabinets. I like seeing dishes & cups through glasses. Something to consider.
Like butcher block countertops, upper glass cabinets, it has cottage kitchen feel.

Inspiration for Living Level Floor Plan From CoolHousePlans.com Eric wants to bring entry deck to the front deck.also take bedroom 2 out to make outdoor deck larger make bathroom in front of bedroom 2 a half bat. possible outdoor kitchen behind 1/2 bath against wall of master bath. also would like dual shower walk in in master maybe make closet smaller. Me: see the word “bench” next to mud/laundry room? Take bench out. Leave it empty. I will find antique cabinet to put in there to store pots, etc.

I like the ideas of looking out the windows while doing the dishes...(PF) Yes, really nice. I could see this either facing across the road or to the south, since your neighbors structures are lower, you wouldn't be looking right at them.
**KITCHEN: This is the idea of the whole kitchen I imagine...with black windows, all black knobs/handles/hang lights. 30" White farm sink with stainless steel faucet. Stainless appliances. 2 long or 3 short wooden shelves on one side. Less upper cabinets on other side. Just some upper cabinets above the stove. How about some ceiling beams idea in great room? (Wall color is Benjamin Moore, DC-117 simply white) PF-got it, I like the black window grills in the previous image above the sink, very nice, and they kept the rest of the frame white - just something to consider.

This is probably what it looks like on layout of the house we picked. This is ideal. Upper cabinets and table over laundry. Add rack to hang up wet clothes if possible? NO sink. Same hardwood floor will add on same as mud room, kitchen, great room, bedrooms.

Like this light gray hardwood floor but it is a tile. We will update what we found at Lowe's. PF-I've seen some installations of wood grained tile and I though it was very nice!
**BATHROOM: Something like this, double sink, white cabinets, black outline mirror, black faucets, black knobs, light gray hardwood floors, glass door & two shower heads on opposite side to fit in 2 persons. See if u can put two walls for shower heads and one side for glass door.
*Mud room, I am going to add on hooks and bench myself. No cabinets. Just leave the mud room empty. Hardwood floor will add on same as kitchen, laundry, bedroom and great room.
I like great room all open and high. No high ceiling beams. If we have to have a beam stand, this is a nice post we like something like that close matches to the floor. No fireplace. Will add on wood stove in the corner by the lake. Flat wall with 2 narrow windows to put up TV in between next to wood stove. (Maybe add white beams in great room.?)
*BASEMENT: with glass sliding door to the lake. Ideal is hang out room same as above great room. Same hardwood floor color as upstairs. Two small bedrooms below and full bathroom (simple small stand up shower with 1 sink). Going downstairs with hand rails color black.

2 windows for the side of the house. Leave empty in the middle for TV. Like this look, size & color black & black grills windows. Also. Add on for facing the lake and master bedroom windows. No moldings on ALL the windows inside the house. Even in the kitchen.
Same spots of faucet in the middle and water filter on right side. I do want to install filter under the sink for drinking clean water. Not getting drinking water filter for refrigerator. Refrigerator will have ice maker from inside the freezer. We need to discuss about what’s going with water. Well water makes me sick. Unsure if filter water will help or do I have to purchase separate bottles water for me to drink? Remind me to talk about this. (PF) Regarding water - it is worth at least inquiring with the Town of Jerusalem if you could pay to have public water extended to your lot, or I can do that for you. Otherwise, water from the lake or check feasibility of drilling a well (not all well water is the same quality). Me: that’d be great if you could talk to the town and see what they can do with public water. Let me know. Thx. Me: Eric said he’s going to talk to water town tomorrow.
