Balance Ideabook
Picture shows Informal Balance, since the heavier object, the crib, seems to be placed closer to the center line than the other lighter objects, plus different objects on each side of the crib are arranged on the sides of the crib, the center point. Even though there are different objects on both sides of the crib, neither side overpowers the other.
Picture shows Informal Balance, since there are different but equivalent objects arranged on each side of the crib, the center point, but the feeling of equilibrium in the nursery is still created. Even though the shelves are identical, the objects on the shelves on both sides are different. I chose this picture mainly because I love babies so much.
Picture shows Formal Balance, since identical objects were arranged on each side of the bed, the center point, and appears symmetrical when you look at the image. It makes me feel comfortable because of its orderliness, and I appreciate having two nightstands and two vases of flowers.
