Storage ideas
Expand your organising possibilities with back-of-door shelving designed to hold bottles and jars. The best back-of-door shelves have guardrails so items don’t topple off every time you open and close the door.
Play both sides of an island An island bench is a great place to include storage, but sometimes items can get lost at the back of deep low cabinets. Instead, consider using cabinets that open from both sides, or incorporate back-to-back shallow cabinets on each side of your island bench. This will let you store pieces within easy reach and prevents any items from being buried at the back of deep cabinets.
The pantry cabinet has three fixed shelves on top that include baskets for storing smaller items. Pull-out shelves below store assorted dry goods. The inside of the right door has a broom rack.
Tiny cabinets. This clever piece of cabinetry uses space that would generally be considered unusable. The fold-out ironing board and shelves are an impressive use of a tiny space, as well as being perfectly integrated into the cabinetry.

Tilt-door laundry hampers in a shallow cabinet. Smaller capacity so you may need to use more of them.
Slide-out plastic laundry baskets. Plastic hampers are practical, durable and the holes allow for good aeration. Litre capacity is also generally good.
