Palamone & Howard Spa Addition
beadboard 'tray' ceiling.
this is really pretty and quite simple and shown w/o a bead board ceiling. you could easily incorporate bead board if you'd like.
another version of a vault
this is a bit more contemporary, but just for reference and comparison sake.
just so you have some idea of what the natural wood tone would look like on the ceiling, too.
this is a new way to incorporate collar ties into the vaulted ceiling. remember, we would use teak or cedar as an aesthetic to the space as well. IF you're going for more of a Colonial look, then white would likely be a preference.
i like the the color of this ceiling beadboard as it's nod to an old southern tradition of "haint blue" porch ceilings that intended to 'fend the evils spirits away'
i love this look, too-- it doesn't have to be this involved, but you get the idea! ;)
maybe too expanse on the "kitchenette/counter top" idea in the spa addition, but an idea of a "Butler's Pantry" of sorts.
another idea for vaulted ceiling-- the possibilities! ;)
scissor truss look neat in a vaulted ceiling, too.
love these cubbies, seats and storage for hanging towels, etc.
idea for ceiling in spa addition
vaulted ceiling w/ some cross-ties/beams, but w/ beadboard, not shiplap as seen here.
another beautiful arch for breezeway idea
your breezeway inspiration!
