House Reno
I don't like much about this design, but I'm using it to bring up the question of roof-deck access. Ideally, we'd like to have the stairwell continue up through a hatch (not a doghouse/penthouse) directly onto the roof deck. We've heard that hatches, in addition to being expensive are also very prone to water leakage. We'd be open to a hatch, but also open to a spiral staircase that is coming from back of 3rd floor to roof deck.
Like effect, prefer larger pieces of glass. Staircase also nice.
Idea for how to have interior space with light.
Love Rothko-esque wall. Stairwell, atrium very nice.
Interesting use of exposed brick. Like color of flooring.
Door.
Love amount of glazing, would prefer larger windows - less broken up by black.
Glass walkway.
I like this ‘wet zone’ concept for master bath. Also tile is nice.
Like cabinets, stainless backsplash. Ok counter.
Glazing, cabinetry, island light.
Chandelier and walkway.
Staircase railing and glass walkway.
Chandelier, walkway. Built in seating?
Like cabinetry, but don’t love it. Lighter?
Glazing and clean look. Cooktop on island. How do they vent? One of the pop up vents? Do those work?
Backsplash.
I don’t love these cabinets but they are interesting.
Faucet, cabinets.
Maybe we want all white?
Love this kitchen.
A little too traditional, but this brings up the question of whether island countertop is different from countertop along wall. Could see something like wall/island being stainless/soapstone; or just different colors.
Interesting use of color.
Love the back of this house.
Very interesting use of color and texture.
Interesting light. Not sure its right for this project, but its an option.
Idea for permeable parking spot/patio? I had assumed cobblestones (of which we already have probably 70 linear feet).
Cladding option.
Front patio?
Metal decking?
Interesting use of light and tile. Tub and fixtures too traditional.
We think that the waterfall look is superfluous. Also, not sure how I love the wood/white countertop look.
Would love closet options like this in master at least, or walk in closets. Maybe in all bedrooms?
Cladding option.
Love this tile. Too traditional?
Really like this kitchen look. What is the countertop? It might be nice to have a non-white counter but something off-white.
I think we could do white with wood accents on W elevation.
