this is a pretty good picture to show you some ideas. the left cabinet is an expensive pantry. I don't like them because you have to fuss with pulling things out and spinning them and the size of everything is pretty much dictated to you. The pull out next to that is a great way to get oils and such stored easily and very accessible. I put two of these in Rick and Sherry's kitchen on either side of the fridge. They are also not that cheap. The third cabinet next to the pull out is sort of what I would order for you. Three drawers on the bottom (the taller ones fit a cereal box, but instead of an open space and cabinet (?) above, those would be doors that opened to have pullout drawers behind.
Start to note the shape of hoods. Also, I don't remember the height of your ceiling, but you'll probably mount your hood no less than 66" above the floor (that's 30" above the range top), so you might not necessarily have a nice long chase like this one unless you do go with a low profile hood as shown here.
you have to zoom in, but you can see they stopped the tile at the first shelf. I don't like this as much as all the way up and if you do that, with a big window, you probably aren't going to pay much more.
