Backsplash ideas. Arabesque
Another example of 48" range / zinc hood combo. I prefer it built in with the trim and cabinets and not having this negative space next to it.
Example to show Britt paneled fridge vs all stainless. Believe this is a 42" subzero.
Another example. Maybe too medieval but like the zinc - really the focus of the kitchen. Black knobs are nice touch (don't like the red knobs) if we go Wolf.
Another built in zinc hood with liner. Below moulding/trim. Flush to adjacent cabinets.
48" range with Zinc Hood. Don't like this particual hood but the general layout and hood type. Maybe different color bands or 'nailheads' to match trim/accent.
48" range with cool hood
Baseboard / moulding
For living room ceiling? More subtle but provides demisions. JTM: agree needs more depth
More of the layout than anything. Reminds me of our kitchen space (besides low ceiling).
Another wrought iron example to explore. Not sold but could make entrance feel better.JTM: I do love the wrought iron look with the wood floors Raiings should be wood as well, otherwise these stairs look like out of proportion and that they belong outdoors.
Another idea for stairs. With metal spindles. Like the white/wood contrast on stairs
Wood floor color. Contrast on stairs. Not sure how to feel about iron handrails and banisters. Could be cool with right pattern/detail.
Solar shelf (sundeck). Big tile patio. Nice playstructure too
Blue/grey island color. Wood floors (darker wide plank wood). Keep seeing and drawing to gold accent on hardware/lights.
Natural stone look. This one probably bigger than what we need.
Path/Rock walls. Natural stone look. JTM: what makes this appealing is the use of linear with organic shapes around it - concepts I love to use for both interior and exterior design
Cool marble backsplash. Grey/blue with gold trim.
Big opening at kitchen sink for snack bar.
Another idea for living room ceiling (Fake beams to give some deminision). JTM: yes that room will need ceiling treatment and tie in to the stairs in terms of linear composition.
Fireplace options for both hearthroom
Living room. Traditional
ss metal on lower roof. black shingles top. Black windows. ? JTM: this house looks 'forced' and trendy - not a look for a forever home. However, we could use dark/bronze/charcoal windows which add dimension to a house.
Transitional look for hearthroom. Marble slab with TV (maybe soundbar too and built-ins).
Living room ideas.
Adding a hot tub to the pool. Stones could match the retaining walls - benches? etc
Wainscotting, textured wall paper wand slider from dining.
Patio and steps with lights.
Pergola with small outdoor bbq.
Patio Pavers (12x24?)JTM these size pavers are nice, need to determine the whole 'look' of the pool and then that will decide size and shape of pavers. This will be part of exterior design and also real back to the other parts of the exterior and connection to interior.
