I like that this pergola has "three walls." Visually and use of space wise, I don't like pergolas that are open on all four side. -B Beautiful-R
Of course, it has a pool. -B
Outdoor space with the benefits of the indoors. I'm pretty sure we can't afford something like this! -B
Cool idea. Great way to have a private area with water wise plant. -B Love the look and the idea. -R
Southwestern meets modern. I like it. -B
I like the geometry of this. -B Me too! I love everything about that -R
Small-ish pool that isn't kidney shaped. -B
Again, like the horizontal fencing. -B
Outdoor couch seating would allow us to lounge with our dogs. -B
Like the lighting on the shrubs, or whatever those plants are called, -B
Like the rocks/plants area. -B
I like the wall plants. -B
I know Rebecca would love this. -B I do!! -R
If plants could survive Sacramento summers in these built in planters, this is a nice look. -B
This is an example of the fencing I was thinking about for the front yard. I like the look of decomposed granite, by the way AND I've read that it can be easily tracked indoors by shoes and pets and can scratch wood floors. I do like decomposed granite as an alternative to cement for use as an extra parking spot, filler between pavers, or stand alone as a border or path. -B
The high fencing feels private, like a sanctuary. This is something that we would definitely enjoy. As usual, I like the horizontal board. -B
This seems like a magical secret garden. If we lived in the Pacific Northwest, we would enjoy this. -B
Rebecca loves naps and hammocks. I know she would love to have a hammock that isn't a chore to pull out/put up. -B She’s right!! -R
I would love to have a spot for our grill that was under cover so we can grill on rainy days. It would also be a treat to have built in counter space near the grill for food prep. (wood or brick or...something else). -B Gorgeous! -R
Wow! the wooden patio cover thing is so original. Neat idea. I like the modern look of the horizontal fencing and wall covering. -B
I like this modern take on the pergola. The non-wood beams are clean looking and maintenance free. It does lack the amount of visual "warmth" that I would like in the back yard, however. -B
Cute. Tidy. Serene. Benches are nice for easy to maintain furniture outside. I like the low decking, this is something I've thought about as an alternative to cement or stone for the front patio/yard as well as for the back yard. I like the warmth of wood. The stones are nice and some ground cover between pavers would soften, but would invite peeing by the dogs. -B
cushion storage SMART! - rh
