sunroom
napping spot cushions-there are still some things that have to be done the old fashioned way--we designed and built these day beds with the job's trim carpenter and then our local upholsterer made the old school button tufted, hand ticked cushions. good old american design with good old local labor talent! thanks for liking!!
doors- The doors are "Balcony Doors" from Le Page. They are the only really 19th century looking doors that are not totally custom that I know of here in the US. They have the traditional narrow stiles and rails, while still having double glazing and good weatherstripping. Le Page is a Quebec company, so that is probably why they continue the french design tradition which is what early glass doors in the US were based on. The hardware, a difficult to find cremone bolt which opens from the outside as well as the inside, is by Von Morris. These doors are best used in areas that only get occasional use, not main entry doors.
more farmy to have hooks in bathroom hanging on a piece of wood rather than just on the wall. unless it's curved..
old fashioned screened doors, and dark, for sunroom?
Some of the windows are opened electronically by a switch, some with a pole.
window color, but less wood on the windows. Mine would have less depth. Or maybe not. Consider if more depth would be better.
hardware on these sliders is what I want to open my sliders if I have them in the sunroom
Grating for the sunroom niche wall. Decorative faux wrought iron grating to add structure while keeping the open feeling.

ceiling
door color nice for sunroom, inside and out
view i'd like
see this shelf goes around the corner to above the door and how it is supported by brackets
window air at the bottom instead of sidelights
windows to right and left - better feel
think about these windows/doors framed in natural wood
doors
windows
eight panes instead of ten, much more generous and relaxed feeling
see the doors, with only three squares tall. Muntins are thicker but the feel is more open. Not forties though
way to handle wall of windows. windows up top but always covered with shades. Nah. I like the restricted view. And I think I want to have a shelf where I put a few larger things above the windows. Like Mom's Indian basket.
lanterns along the windows
see windows without vertical wood piece. maybe not bad
consider this kind of door with three panes for dining/sunroom, and dark paint
consider slim but long ottoman for between seating. So games or a tray with drinks, or feet up.

window doors
window doors, nice muntins, not too thick, nice color too - each door four simple squares
should the floor be darker to go with the windows?

this is a nice wood color if ceiling boards and beams are kept wood-colored
nice muntins on doors; consider for my wall of windows
loo table - tilt-top for easy storage. this one is too fancy
tongue and groove ceiing
I like the feel of this ceiling. Also like large panes of glass - better with the fat muntins like I have. Like the almost-can't-see-them French Doors too. A seamless wall of windows, not like doors are there. I like the feel of this room.
