Kitchen Reno
We are thinking about two tones for cabinets in our new kitchen. I'm not sure I like the idea of cabinets on the top, one color, and cabinets on the bottom, another color. Perhaps we can do cream cabinets (both levels) and the warm caramel color on the sides of the island, if there is an island. Just a thought.
Love the backsplash tile; however, I am not sure how this backsplash would look with cream upper cabinets. The island looks very craftsman-like, but it appears to have little if no storage built into it. The storage wall with the refrigerator built in is fantastic.
I really like the cabinetry and hardware. Looks great with the green backsplash.
Close up of the green subway tile. I really like this; however, this particular green is more of a teal or aqua, and I would like to steer toward a nice a muted forest green. I do like the cabinetry. The color seems close to the wood color currently in the house.
Like the shape of this hood. I think I would worry about the patina of the copper, so I would rather have a wood look. The tile design is very nice. I may want to do a design here; depends on cost.
Roll out works!
Presently, we keep our storage containers in the garage. This is a great idea for medium to small storage containers.
Cookbook storage is handy. I store my cookbooks in the living room.
Although I do not care for the light blue cabinet color, I would like them in a cream color with the island cabinets/side being a warm tan, like the counter in our beverage center.
Love these silverware and utensil drawers. The trays we have added to the drawers slide around constantly.
Great idea. We have a Kitchen Aide mixer like this one, as well as a 2-slice toaster that we reach up for right now.
I like the extra storage incorporated around the refrigerator here. Even doing only one side would be a great help.
Love what looks like cream colored cabinets and the wood color on the side of the island.
Kitchen transition.
End result of kitchen conversion.
Dawn Christine converted this kitchen (similar to ours).
Beautiful! Light and bright. Not sure about the tile backsplash, though. And, I would stay away from the light gray island.
This is a great way to store larger appliances behind closed doors. Love the two shelves for condiments, spices, whatever. Also like the wine storage space above. What a great use of space. The wood counter pull-out is also a great idea. This piece is a winner.
Like the mixture of colors (dark brown and white).
Love the wall color, Accessible Beige (SW).
Color scheme
Storage for oils and spices next to stove would be heaven!
This kitchen would be too dark, like what we have now.
Love the feeling of this kitchen
Like the tile on the wall. Also like the wood island top.
Like the wood island top.
Spice storage like this would be handy. This would mostly be for spices used on a regular basis. Would like to add one storage row for cooking oils.
Like the light island top with the wood finish base. Cream top with cream cabinets (to match my beverage center), not white.

This kitchen is beautiful! I love how warm it looks. The lighting is great. The color of the cabinets is just about what I am looking for. Love the stove and the tile on the wall behind it. The island is very nice, although I would love to have a bit more space there. I still want to stay away from a white countertop, but an off white or beige would probably be fine. Love that the cabinets reach the ceiling, and I love the way the refrigerator tucks into the space. The flooring in this picture is very close to what we have now. I am very interested in keeping the flooring and simply adding where necessary, and refinishing everywhere else.
Love the cabinets
Pretty green. Looks very nice with the trim.
Great way to organize tools.
I do not want open shelves like these.
