Lighting under cabinets
**Maybe you could do something creative with the windows (paint the frames, etc. I can’t picture what they look like. LC** Love the focus on the windows at the end
Love this-similar flooring to the one we’ve picked. Can we creatively create the illusion of outdoor light?
**You’ll probably want stools without backs so you can tuck them out of the way when they’re not being used, especially if you’ll have a cupboard you’ll need to access back there. LC** we both like this - the bar stools are nice (maybe too big for the space), like the lighting
maybe glass pendant lights, not these colours
**Having something built in like this would look nice! LC** what about creating something like this on the far wall - not too big, but could hold the table setting stuff
interesting use of colour - around tops of cabinets then over to a wall
BD likes this backsplash
like these pendant lights
**I like it, too. I also like the other one you posted. LC** B.D. really likes this stone backsplash
backsplash idea, not that colour
like this
**I love those cabinets (and the counter) LC** These are our cabinets - Milton White!
**Subway tile is classic, something you wouldn’t get sick of in a couple years. LC** need to figure out the back splash
**I like this look a lot! LC** These are the same cabinets, without the classic cornice - but these handles are the ones we chose
**I like it! LC** This is our counter top - it's Strass Gris, but in person it does has a fleck in it although you can't see it on this photo
These are our cabinet, but with different handles. It's called Milton White. And we're going with the traditional corning on the top.
Counter top on left (quite light), Milton white doors and the Foggy Grey Oak EvoCore floor
EvoCore Foggy Grey Oak [Auntie here-I think this will look lovely with the gray cabinetry!]
Tall cabinets all the way up, some tiles, like the book shelf
I like these light fixtures
**I’m a big fan as well. I like the wood/metal contrast with all the white. LC** I'm very attracted to this - it feels light, airy but warm
**If your cabinets don’t end up going all the way up, you could later have a carpenter make something like these brown shelves that would match. LC** I think I like white and wood - it warms it up and feels earthy. Even with the wood floor
I love the spice rack on the inside of the cupboard door idea [Auntie here- I love that idea too-seems like it would make it so easy to find your primary spices! ]
notice the pull-down hatch door - might be good for storing toaster and kettle so we don't see them all the time
