Jonestown House
Tasha doesn't like the idea of using an island as a kitchen table, BUT if we end up needing to make a sacrifice due to the limited space available, I think we would rather have our nice sectional couch and no dining table, than a dining table and no couch. Hopefully it doesn't come down to that and we can have both!
840 sq. ft. home FEELS big and spacious because of the windows, natural lighting, and opens out to deck
Really like the Japanese feel of the home and the garden =]
LOTS of outdoor space to enjoy the view, outdoors, and to make it feel more spacious
The smaller we go, the nicer we can make it
Stairwell
Feels nice and open, but isn't a TON of space
Has everything to do with how you design and use the space
I like this brick...
This is cool! First floor garage / workout area, second and third living / bedroom
3 stories with balconies on top two floors and garage on first. We like this design with stairs all interior and in one area. ❤️ Bigger windows out to the decks. Rails on 2nd and 3rd floor balconies made out of steel, no cable. Stairways on the left side of the home so that balconies can be on right side of the home for best view. 2 1/2 garage for workout area. Rectangle pool with enough patio area for outdoor dining table and fire pit. 1500 sq. ft. ish. Different exterior materials. Look at advantages / disadvantages of ductless mini split HVAC units compared to conventional Centralized HVAC system.
3 story but make 1st floor garage / workout area
3 stories but change the first to garage / workout area
3 story with garage on first floor
The use of steel beams is what I’m looking for in Jonestown. Would rather have large square tubing with rounded edges than the I beams
Those bookshelves though
? Save costs on building full garage, connect the deck to stairs so you can walk into living area, and less costs than going 3 stories to accommodate a full garage below. Other option is to do this same concept, but enclose the carport area to create a garage.
I actually like the way these steps interfere minimally with the usable space in the pool.
