Love the nice bookshelves on the sides...
An example of wide, vertical shiplap?
Wallpaper like this in the dining room, and I love this mirror and the hutches or built-ins
Wallpaper
Love this wallpaper!
I like how these have the freestanding "look" to them along the bottom, but are still trimmed and closed off.
I could see doing something a little different (like this) in our downstairs powder bath off the dining room. The black and gold, the gold mirror... Just something a little outside the box?
LOVE THIS! These cabinets are amazing. Even the uppers and the vanity shape are gorgeous! And I love the handles -- the glass knob look suits this old place, and the pulls on the drawers are awesome.
Love these bathroom cabinets and the shaping of the granite. I wouldn't want that little lip in the edge, or the space underneath between the floor and cabinets (for cleaning!), but otherwise, these are perfect.
Not silver, but, something like this maybe for kids' baths?
For kids' bathrooms: I like the top border tile around the walls. But not the ridge along the top, if that makes sense? Can we have some type of cool border tile?
Bathroom floor!
Love this brick and the dark wood with it -- and then the art on the walls in black framing that could be copies of our old house drawings and such!
Wondering if we could do built-ins or something on the side of our chimney that's exposed? Trying to find something to work off... not sure this is the one, but I do like the lit-up built-in look...
Love the "old world" look... maybe not as extreme, but some!
Again, details on the floor. Has that older look!
I like the staircase and the tiled wall. And the detail of the hardwood floor in the entry too!
Again, just to drive home the point that I want to be really intentional with cabinets being "smart."
Love this island. Not sure what the countertop is -- if it's actually wood? Love the white contrast but that the countertop of the island "matches" the floor but is different than the kitchen countertops.
I think it would be cool for the cabinetry in the pass-thru to the formal dining to be black
Again, I noticed a theme of brick, such as above the beam here...
Love the black hutches and the dramatic black and white. Not this much pattern on the wall paper though. ;)
Again, I wouldn't use this much "brick" look -- but maybe accents are OK.
OK - I obviously would never tie this much brick into my kitchen, and I would want it to look whitewashed, BUT -- it's kind of cool to see "brick walls." Just a thought. Not sure how you could tie that in, but just an idea overall.
YES PLEASE. I want to see lots of smart spaces like these!
Love this concealed wine rack/cabinet
Hmm. Maybe brick, instead of a beam through the kitchen ceiling? Just a thought, since it's carrying a load of brick above and throughout...
I'd love to see the paneling/tiled casing on the lower third of the wall through entry, stairway, dining room...
I wouldn't mind seeing some detail in the woodwork on the wood floors. Not this pattern exactly, but something to set the space apart?
I don't mind the beam across this ceiling ;)
Just love the look around this fireplace... looks like somebody modernized an old fireplace. Which is what we're going for. ;)
Arch and keystone
Love this!
I like the white on the stairs (Sorry, Baron!). LOL
I like these built-ins around the fire, and how they incorporate a little wood into the white. (Sort of like the older window seat look we'll have upstairs?)
