Cevallos-Fridman House
Very modern but I like the delicacy of the thin windows against the rustic wood. I also like the proportion of the windows if you wanted to limit the window size in the front of the house. The entry is also recessed and the materiality is different - looks like a painted white wood.
I like the use of the wood shingles for the roof and the siding so that the attention is on the front door. I also like the way the deck intersects with the house and is of the same tone.
I like the way they wrapped the corner with a warm colored wood and created a deck to align with it. I also like the material palette overall, the siding matches the roof finish and lets the warm wood color be the star.
I like the proportion of these windows. The siding looks like a cement board.
I like that this is a recessed entry but the door is to the side instead of the front. This creates a nice niche for a bench and other outdoor accessories.
I like the graying cedar shingles with the gray roof. This way the attention is more on the simple white shudders and trim.
I like the wood shingle roof with the white, accented by the green of the landscape. The drive way is also very clean, gray brick.
I like this wood siding and the proportion of the recessed entry space. I also like the metal roof above.
Transitional style back deck. I like the proportion of the windows but maybe without the mullions. This extends the back of the house and takes advantage of the landscape.
Transitional style entry
I like the simple neutral palette but with varying textures.
