Sellersville Residence
The objective of this project was to expand the kitchen to accommodate the needs of a growing family. The kitchen is the epicenter of the home; and, with a household of teenagers, working parents and a grandmother, the small kitchen was clearly overworked. The architect/owner wished to expand and open the kitchen to the adjacent spaces. This would create more of an open floor plan, linking the proposed kitchen to the highly utilized family room, the exterior recreational pool area, and the more formal dining/living room wing of the home.
