Interior Designer, Linda Ennochs of Orange County, CA. Linda won the ASID OC Home Award for Best Powder Room with this one.
Linda gave me the stone samples and a photo of the mirror. I went into my workshop and started mixing samples, this wall finish is what I came up with. Always, the goal is to provide a balance between stone surfaces, wood finishes and design elements by coming up with the wall and ceiling surface finishes harmonize with the elements of the design and to blend everything together in elegance. To me, sometimes just white wall paints do serve a purpose. Rarely. I'd rather add texture, color and a hand painted surface to match in elegance what the power of the decor rarely shows as itself against just white.
