Powder Rooms
This ceiling treatment was choosen from a selection of imprinted wallcovering. I wanted a textural complement to the wall treatments, flooring and finishes. It would have been too much of a good thing to put the same finish on the ceilings that I performed on the walls. I wanted a bit of an elegant difference to compliemtent the walls with enough richness to hold up to the power of the walls. I found just the right texture of wallpaper, and hand glazed/painted quite a few layers to compliment the walls, including a soft patina for enought of an edgy yet metallic difference to make a powerful yet subtle statement.
