The vanity is painted wood and by Oakville Architectural Millwork Inc. The slate floors are heated; countertops are marble and the shower (behind photographer) closes off to become a steam room.
The mirror extends in front of the windows to create privacy and offer great light.
The prints on the wall are from London newspaper The Evening Standard, and show engravings of the Crystal Palace: a vast glass building that burned to the ground in the Victorian era. As architects, the homeowners are fascinated by the magical, shortlived Palace: an overambitious glass structure that dazzled visitors from all over the world.
