Per the homeowner’s sketches and wishes, this shingle-style cottage was constructed to feel like a seasonal residence but with energy efficiencies built in throughout. The home features many "bump-outs" and porches that add to the overall look. In working with the homeowner, the decision was made to install Integrity® windows because of the quality and options the company offered. Integrity windows helped overcome a tough building challenge by providing a quality product at an affordable price point that fit the client's budget. The owners also liked the exterior color options—they chose Evergreen—as well as the natural wood interiors and brushed nickel hardware. The durable exterior finish was a perfect fit for the coastal environment.
