This is an "after" shot of the '07 intermediate re-do. The floor we love. It's heart pine, it's got lots of "character marks," and we left it as-is when we did the dream kitchen reno in '11. But the flaws of the kitchen are still here--narrow doorway, choke point when entertaining, crappy plywood homemade original cabinets, shallow sinks, cheap electric range, fake and crappy tile.
