Noble Johnson ArchitectsTiny House bathroom

Noble Johnson Architects was honored to partner with Huseby Homes to design a Tiny House which was displayed at Nashville botanical garden, Cheekwood, for two weeks in the spring of 2021. It was then auctioned off to benefit the Swan Ball. Although the Tiny House is only 383 square feet, the vaulted space creates an incredibly inviting volume. Its natural light, high end appliances and luxury lighting create a welcoming space.
Crystal Kitchen + BathThese homeowners wanted to update their 1990’s bathroom with a statement tub to retreat and relax.
The primary bathroom was outdated and needed a facelift. The homeowner’s wanted to elevate all the finishes and fixtures to create a luxurious feeling space.
From the expanded vanity with wall sconces on each side of the gracefully curved mirrors to the plumbing fixtures that are minimalistic in style with their fluid lines, this bathroom is one you want to spend time in.
Adding a sculptural free-standing tub with soft curves and elegant proportions further elevated the design of the bathroom.
Heated floors make the space feel elevated, warm, and cozy.
White Carrara tile is used throughout the bathroom in different tile size and organic shapes to add interest. A tray ceiling with crown moulding and a stunning chandelier with crystal beads illuminates the room and adds sparkle to the space.
Natural materials, colors and textures make this a Master Bathroom that you would want to spend time in.

Mavella HomeWe ship lapped this entire bathroom to highlight the angles and make it feel intentional, instead of awkward. This light and airy bathroom features a mix of matte black and silver metals, with gray hexagon tiles, and a cane door vanity in a medium wood tone for warmth. We added classic white subway tiles and rattan for texture.

Pretty DomesticatedThe now dated 90s bath Katie spent her childhood splashing in underwent a full-scale renovation under her direction. The goal: Bring it down to the studs and make it new, without wiping away its roots. Details and materials were carefully selected to capitalize on the room’s architecture and to embrace the home’s traditional form. The result is a bathroom that feels like it should have been there from the start. Featured on HAVEN and in Rue Magazine Spring 2022.
Cathie Hong InteriorsThis 1956 John Calder Mackay home had been poorly renovated in years past. We kept the 1400 sqft footprint of the home, but re-oriented and re-imagined the bland white kitchen to a midcentury olive green kitchen that opened up the sight lines to the wall of glass facing the rear yard. We chose materials that felt authentic and appropriate for the house: handmade glazed ceramics, bricks inspired by the California coast, natural white oaks heavy in grain, and honed marbles in complementary hues to the earth tones we peppered throughout the hard and soft finishes. This project was featured in the Wall Street Journal in April 2022.

Jibe DesignWe expanded the attic of a historic row house to include the owner's suite. The addition involved raising the rear portion of roof behind the current peak to provide a full-height bedroom. The street-facing sloped roof and dormer were left intact to ensure the addition would not mar the historic facade by being visible to passers-by. We adapted the front dormer into a sweet and novel bathroom.

The shower features Daltile pebbled floor, Grohe custom shower valves, a MGM glass shower door & Thermasol steam cam lights. The solid acrylic freestanding tub is by MTI & the wall-mounted toilet & bidet are by Toto. A Schluter heated floor system ensures the owner won’t get a chill in the winter. Satterberg Desonier Dumo Interior Design, Inc.In this project we took the existing tiny two fixture bathroom and remodeled the attic space to create a new full bathroom capturing space from an unused closet. The new light filled art deco bathroom achieved everything on the client's wish list.
TVL Creative Ltd.This project was not only full of many bathrooms but also many different aesthetics. The goals were fourfold, create a new master suite, update the basement bath, add a new powder bath and my favorite, make them all completely different aesthetics.
Primary Bath-This was originally a small 60SF full bath sandwiched in between closets and walls of built-in cabinetry that blossomed into a 130SF, five-piece primary suite. This room was to be focused on a transitional aesthetic that would be adorned with Calcutta gold marble, gold fixtures and matte black geometric tile arrangements.
Powder Bath-A new addition to the home leans more on the traditional side of the transitional movement using moody blues and greens accented with brass. A fun play was the asymmetry of the 3-light sconce brings the aesthetic more to the modern side of transitional. My favorite element in the space, however, is the green, pink black and white deco tile on the floor whose colors are reflected in the details of the Australian wallpaper.
Hall Bath-Looking to touch on the home's 70's roots, we went for a mid-mod fresh update. Black Calcutta floors, linear-stacked porcelain tile, mixed woods and strong black and white accents. The green tile may be the star but the matte white ribbed tiles in the shower and behind the vanity are the true unsung heroes.
APK Designs LLCA compete renovation for this master bath included replacing all the fixtures, vanity, floor tile and adding a ledge along the tub, as well as commercial-grade wall covering on the vanity wall.
