Period: EGYPTIAN This image of what I assume to be a movie room was definately inspired by the Egyptian period. For example, the tiers alongside the wall, the images acting as hieroglyphics, as well as the border of both the ceilings and arch ways are all examples of Egyptian style design.
Egypt; architectural element. I see this theater room being inspired by the Egyptian era because of the giant sacred beetle on the celling and the hieroglyphics on the walls and carpet. It gives a perfect representation of the art work of the Egyptian era.
The historical period of this design feature is Egypt. Which is shown as it portrays a more contemporary design primarily from the fact that the room is a home theater. Also as it uses hieroglyphics, a sacred beetle, and the ankh which is a symbol of life in Egypt.
Egypt Ceiling design inspired by the Scarab or Sacred Beetle in the Egyptian period. This entertainment room is inspired by the Egyptian period as they have hierogylphics on the posts, with the bright beautiful bold colors,
Egyptian- Originally I was drawn to this room as it used the scarab that Egyptian design used as focal point upon the ceiling and also combines a more contemporary lighting structure around it. It is also includes hieroglyphics along the walls and the Ankh within the carpeting.
