Grand piano room in tiny garden - built in one month
This recent commission was a bespoke garden room to house a Grand piano, in probably the smallest garden we've ever worked in!
We had to get materials in via the neighbour's gardens.
The music-loving client wanted the insulation to be sound-focussed so we used sound-suppressing rock wool instead of the usual reticle. It has slightly less heat insulating qualities (it's still nice and cosy though) and is excellent for acoustics.
The garden room is cedar and weatherboard clad, has aluminium French doors and window. The clients paid an extra £850 for us to build adjustable shelves on the single wall.
Another interesting project which took the team around one month to build.
