UserWhen the green velvet fabric came across Studio L's desk they knew it had to be used. Ben Whistler made the elegant bespoke sofa which is a fan favourite! The walls are covered with a glazed abaca textured wallpaper. And to help disguise the bulkhead and tame the vaulted butterfly ceiling, Studio L also covered it in a silk wallcovering all by Phillip Jefferies. The ceiling has a slightly iridescent sheen that, depending on the light, gently changes colour yet is always flattering.

Design InspirationsThis space was originally a living room in a center hall colonial and was transformed into a billiard room so that the space would be functional and beautiful. The family room is next to it for TV viewing and conversation. The wood coffered ceilings add warmth and elegance to the room.

Roughan Interior DesignThis Dutch colonial was designed for a NBA Coach and his family. It was very important that the home be warm, tailored and friendly while remaining functional to create an atmosphere for entertainment as well as resale. This was accomplished by using the same paint color throughout the 11,000 sq.ft home while each space conveyed a different feeling. We are proud to say that the house sold within 7 days on the market.
