FINNE ArchitectsThe Eagle Harbor Cabin is located on a wooded waterfront property on Lake Superior, at the northerly edge of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, about 300 miles northeast of Minneapolis.
The wooded 3-acre site features the rocky shoreline of Lake Superior, a lake that sometimes behaves like the ocean. The 2,000 SF cabin cantilevers out toward the water, with a 40-ft. long glass wall facing the spectacular beauty of the lake. The cabin is composed of two simple volumes: a large open living/dining/kitchen space with an open timber ceiling structure and a 2-story “bedroom tower,” with the kids’ bedroom on the ground floor and the parents’ bedroom stacked above.
The interior spaces are wood paneled, with exposed framing in the ceiling. The cabinets use PLYBOO, a FSC-certified bamboo product, with mahogany end panels. The use of mahogany is repeated in the custom mahogany/steel curvilinear dining table and in the custom mahogany coffee table. The cabin has a simple, elemental quality that is enhanced by custom touches such as the curvilinear maple entry screen and the custom furniture pieces. The cabin utilizes native Michigan hardwoods such as maple and birch. The exterior of the cabin is clad in corrugated metal siding, offset by the tall fireplace mass of Montana ledgestone at the east end.
The house has a number of sustainable or “green” building features, including 2x8 construction (40% greater insulation value); generous glass areas to provide natural lighting and ventilation; large overhangs for sun and snow protection; and metal siding for maximum durability. Sustainable interior finish materials include bamboo/plywood cabinets, linoleum floors, locally-grown maple flooring and birch paneling, and low-VOC paints.

POËSIS STUDIOEn peignant le soubassement de la bibliothèque en vert, nous avons créé un point visuel qui guide le regard vers le fond de l’appartement où se trouve le dressing.
Cette utilisation de la couleur aide à créer une sensation de profondeur et de perspective, tout en unifiant visuellement les différents espaces.
Pour renforcer cette impression de profondeur, nous avons utilisez la même peinture verte mais cette fois-ci en bande verticale. Cela donne l'illusion que le plafond est plus haut et élargit visuellement l'espace.

Every detail in this powder room exudes sophistication. Earthy backsplash tiles impressed with tiny blue dots complement the navy blue faucet, while organic frosted glass and oak pendants add a touch of minimal elegance.

The dining room features a portion of the original ornately paneled ceiling, now recessed in a mirrored and lit alcove, contrasted with bright white walls and modern rift oak millwork. The custom elliptical table was designed by Radutny.

Maison BonnetLa rénovation du Projet #48 a consisté à diviser un appartement de 95m2 en deux appartements de 2 pièces destinés à la location saisonnière. En effet, la configuration particulière du bien permettait de conserver une entrée commune, tout en recréant dans chaque appartement une cuisine, une pièce de vie, une chambre séparée, et une salle de douche.
Le bien totalement vétuste a été entièrement rénové : remplacement de l'électricité, de la plomberie, des sols, des peintures, des fenêtres, et enfin ajout de la climatisation.
Le nombre assez réduit de fenêtres et donc une faible luminosité intérieure nous a fait porter une attention toute particulière à la décoration, que nous avons imaginée moderne et colorée, mais aussi au jeu des éclairages directs et indirects. L'ajout de verrières type atelier entre les chambres et les pièces de vie, et la pose d'un papier peint panoramique Isidore Leroy a enfin permis de créer de vrais cocons, propices à la détente à l'évasion méditerranéenne.

Grillo Outdoor KitchensThe Mercian is a brand new development by Moda Developments, consisting of 481 beautiful apartments, housed in Birmingham’s tallest residential building. The Mercian is located on the former site of the renowned nightclub, The Click Club at Burberries, which had its last live band, Blur, back in 1990. Moda have created a community with top-tier amenities, outstanding views and the UK’s first roof-top running track!
There are a total of 4 Grillo outdoors kitchens on this roof-top sky garden; a true communal-living masterpiece. All four Grillo kitchens are fitted with Grillo Voltiq electric BBQs, plenty of worktop space, outdoor fridges, integrated bar seating… the works! One can think of few better places to spend a long Friday evening; authentic grilled food, a glass of wine in hand, friends, company, and winking city lights.

Demardi.This Kitchen was relocated from the middle of the home to the north end. Four steel trusses were installed as load-bearing walls and beams had to be removed to accommodate for the floorplan changes.
There is now an open Kitchen/Butlers/Dining/Living upstairs that is drenched in natural light with the most undisturbed view this location has to offer.
A warm and inviting space with oversized windows, gorgeous joinery, a curved micro cement island benchtop with timber cladding, gold tapwear and layered lighting throughout to really enhance this beautiful space.
