This is a two room wine cellar built in Westchester NY....some pretty cool features: stone grotto w large format niches, black walnut barrel ceiling and coffer ceiling, incredible tile floor, seamless glass radius entry, and hidden climate control. Cellar holds around 2500+ capacity with back room being the display area for his showcase bottles.
This project was built with the intent of creating an "old world" wine cellar space with contemporary wine storage. The client owns a wine vineyard in France, therefore we incorporated the French Limestone. We also had the logo of the clients Vineyard etched into a custom granite piece, keeping subtle hints of his passion throughout the space.
A unique barrel-vaulted ceiling is illuminated by low-voltage accent lighting, concealed by tailored molding. Imported wine casks were cleverly re-purposed as part of a decorative wall display
