Floating Stairs and Kitchen
The kitchen needed to connect with the living room but it was separated by a staircase leading to the second floor and basement. The object in remodeling the kitchen was to allow a visual pass-through into the living room, the dining room and the backyard patio. We envisioned a stair that had a low profile and yet created a connection with the new style of the kitchen. It was a essential to create a visual "flow".
