Flipping a Tract Home
We're in the process of flipping a tract home built by Lennar. We've come a long way so already. New kitchen, floors, tile, etc. Check out some of the structural before and after photos. Here we've taken a boring pre-fabricated fireplace/mantle on a very large wall and transformed it into a custom stacked stone fireplace with a raised hearth and custom gas logs. We also decided to reconfigure the stairs that are right at the entry of the home. They were once again pre-fabricated and built in a very peculiar manner. We decided that it was in the best interest of the home to rip the entire structure out and add a custom touch to it. Adding a starter step, stained treads, wraught iron, and modern trim really transformed this space into something worth looking at. (These statements are in no way intended to say that the home wasn't fine in its original state. We are simply demonstrating that a tract home can be transformed to have a custom feel)
