Waterfall on island and end of cabinet run. White apron front sink.

layout if we move kitchen to northeast corner; kitchen window opening onto screen porch A: I like it, but I'm concerned about the main floor feeling too task oriented. Perhaps when I see the complete vision then I'll feel better about it? SY: I hope so! But I hear that concern. That's a common concern when opening up spaces like this. We're going for warmth, function, and coziness. I think we'll achieve it C: I'm not concerned about task orientated SY: check

white vaulted ceiling; walnut cabinets with white tops; natural stained oak floor; lots of natural light. Gorgeous. JM: the stain looks "rustic," too rustic EW: i can't decide if i 100% want white countertops

SY: gorgeous warm wood on lighter wood floors. thoughts on this palette? (clearly too sparse here for you). M: it is sparse but that also gives me the ability to switch up textiles, accessories, Etcs when I need a change. I love the warm wood cabinets (if there were handles) but don’t love the super light floors (Eric agrees). SY: got it. I saw your other image with warmer floors. Problem is warm cabinets on warm floors - it's a lot of the same tone.
