The formal entry and main staircase are double height. The entry looks into the formal living room and has access to the formal dining room. The owners use this large formal entry as a second formal dining room when they have large dinner parties serving 32 seated dinner guests. The home has many spaces that were designed with dual function. Such as the top landing of the main stair case; a quartet preforming for the dinner guests above the entry adds the subtle ambiance, with excellent acoustics from the ‘quartet room’.
