An Assortment of Houses
Repeat clients are a special treat for architects. The first project Smith & Vansant did for this couple was a towering wall of books, with a library ladder and accent niches. Ira Clark designed that piece, and it was very popular on Houzz.
A number of years later, the clients decided they needed less yard work, and fewer stairs. But could we re-do some of their favorite things from the big house in their new condo? We worked together on the books-- they edited their collection, and I divided the shelving into three rooms. This is the set in the central of the house, the dining room.
