Kitchen finally finished.

Here is the kitchen I was working on after much advice from here. We had some substantial leaking, which ruined much of the finish on the cabinets. While I wanted to re stain, the cost was substantial ($7800), so we repainted in Farrow and Ball Pigeon. I saved some by doing the sanding and priming. I gave up and had the painter spray them. I also decided to go with the Ann Sacks savoy tile (which I installed myself). We were able to lay the wood over the tile, as it was securely down on a cement slab. The wood was engineered white oak, which I found on Facebook marketplace. My favorite thing I did was have the electrician relocate the electrical boxes to below the cabinets, so the backsplash was uninterrupted. Thanks again to all who helped with their ideas and suggestions!
