Anyone familiar with these quartz types/colors?

Anyone have any comments/familiarity on any of the following quartz counters:

Zodiaq/Corian Valente Pearl

Zodiaq/Corian Versilia Grigio

MSI Quartz Calacatta Venice

We had the "old" Zodiaq in our last kitchen and thought it was a great product. No issues with heat marks/staining/discoloration, really took a beating and looked fantastic. Don't know if the brand has changed now that its been bought by Corian.

Not familiar with MSI at all. Any experience? Recommendations?

All DuPont did was rebrand Zodiaq to Corian Quartz. Dupont makes/made both Corian and Zodiaq/Corian Quartz.

MSI buys and sells quartz from a variety of manufacturers around the world. MSI does not manufacture their own quartz.

Thanks! we loved the Zodiaq product in a former remodel so I hope they have not changed it when Corian took over. The Zodiaq samples are gorgeous....blow the MSI out of the water. Valente Pearl is the choice.

Corian didn't take over. Corian is DuPont's brand name for their solid surface product. Zodiaq was DuPont's brand name for their quartz products. All that happened is that the marketing team at DuPont decided to RENAME DuPont "Zodiaq" to "Corian Quartz" when they created the master brand "Corian Design". It's all part of DuPont's marketing and branding strategy. Nothing but the name changed. Here's the text of the press release. I highlighted the sentence that addresses your concern:

"January 9, 2018 - DuPont™ Zodiaq® is becoming part of the Corian® Design family of branded products, services and design solutions. While the popular quartz product continues to be owned by DuPont, the product will be re-branded as Corian® Quartz as part of the new global design brand, Corian® Design which was introduced earlier this year.

“The move from DuPont™ Zodiaq® to Corian® Quartz will better align the product to the brand’s design principles and allow Corian® Design to more efficiently and effectively communicate the product offering to the market, “ said Julie Eaton, Global Business Director for Corian® Design.

Along with the name change, comes bolder designs, textures and aesthetics for Corian® Quartz which will be previewed this week at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show in Orlando. Customers can expect to start seeing Corian® Quartz in the market effective immediately, kicking off the Corian® Design – Make Your Space™ Campaign launching today.

All product warranties, properties and quality of levels of service customers previously experienced with DuPont™ Zodiaq® remain unchanged with Corian® Quartz. The line currently boasts 52 colors and patterns for use in residential and commercial in a variety of uses including kitchens, bathrooms, hotels, hospitals and restaurants. Corian® Design will now offer and range of materials, including Corian® Quartz all with the goal of helping customers make a statement or make a space “uniquely you”."

Did you go with the Valente Pearl? If so, can you share pictures? We are looking at this for our remodel.

FYI-Heavy veining did not go all the way down on the front edges of 3cm thick counters, stopped short.
